April 21, 2008 - I wonder if it's possible to share dreams wherein two people are having the same subconscious experience simultaneously. It makes me think that perhaps people are indeed psychically connected, and that such experiences are a possibility. While I do recognize that dreams (probably 98% of the time) involve our own egos and agendas in order to solve the puzzles that present themselves, I also recognize that maybe a "group" effort is needed. That's not to say that three people dream the same thing, but that maybe two people can dream the same thing, each contributing their part, or even playing off the other person. It sounds far-fetched, but are we not all intertwined on some spiritual level? And could not such connections cause something like that to happen? I think it's definitely a possibility. We meet friends and family in physical planes - what's to say we don't meet them on spiritual/psychic planes?

April 5, 2008 - I'm 21!! My birthday was last weekend on the 30th, and although my day was mellow, it was really lovely nonetheless. The weather was beautiful and I went to one of my favorite restaurants with my family. I ended up ordering their sangria (which was so delicious) along with their oak-smoked salmon with pasta and vegetables - completely worth the calories. We came home to watch The Tudors, which was more like a blur of Irish hotness. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is brilliant, in short.
Spring break itself wasn't too bad. I didn't have the opportunity to see much of my friends between being in Seattle, having my mom's birthday, and then having my own.
Today I went to a graduate school information forum at UCI. It was so intense, and I think I'm kind of intimidated by the sheer amount of work it takes to get into graduate programs. Unfortunately, I don't have much in the way of undergraduate research (although I've applied for positions), and I'm worried that this factor will hinder me. I suppose I"m just going to have to do the best I can from now until then.
