March 2007

March 27, 2007 - I PASSED MY PSYCHOLOGY CLASS!!!!!!!!!!! I was so worried about it, but I actually managed to scrape by!! I. Am. Majorly. Stoked!!!!!!!
It's been two days and I already miss Alex. Maybe I'm too clingly. But quite frankly, I don't mind that bit. So I have a hard time letting him go, and getting up in the morning. It's more th'at you realize you have something so beautiful and wonderful that you want to protect and nurture it in every way you can. That's not to say you want to suffocate it, but you want to keep it in prime condition.
They say that one person usually loves more than the other. I don't know if I believe that. Maybe it's true, and maybe it's not. Most of the time I tend to worry and ponder things like this. But I've decided that I'm not going to keep doing it. Things are going to work out as they're supposed to, and I do believe that I will have a wonderful love.
In the words of Keira Knightley, "I think every girl is looking for her Mr. Darcy." And that couldn't be more true. Everyone wants to know that they matter more than life to someone, and that the thought of spending more than one lifetime with the same soul is exemplary of how strong love ties are.
By the way, "The Namesake" was an excellent movie, and I highly recommend it! It was strange - a lot of it seemed vaguely familiar, and something I could relate to.
On the 30th, I'm going to be 20. I can hardly believe it. Only 3 more days of being 19 and then I start a new chapter in my life.
It's exhilarating! I shall be in Seattle for the remainder of my Spring Break, and back on the 31st =) I bid you all a very fond farewell!

March 21, 2007 - Vernal Equinox - We're back up and running! And with a new layout featuring the lovely Keira Knightley. Yes, I'm really addicted. I'm so sorry for such a long hiatus. Mainly, my internet connection and computer (combined) had been having some intense difficulty. But I think after having re-installed some drivers and troubleshooting like no other, things should be okay. I hope I'm not speaking pre-emptively on this.
Being as I haven't written anything since January, I'll try to retrace some of the key things that have happened.
Valentine's Day has been wonderful twice in a row now. I used to be the recipient of a chocolate valentine's day heart filled with caramel and marshmallow from my mom from Sees. But this year, Alex provided a lovely box of Sees candies which I did not share wtih anyone for about 4 days. And then I shared. A little. But most of it I ate. 2lbs!! Yummy! And then we went out to dinner the next week at an Italian restaurant which has become a favorite. Delicious salads, really good bread (and that's crucial), beautiful dinners, and quite tasty deserts. Did I mention there's fairy lights everywhere? For some reason, fairy lights are quite enchanting.
I feel quite blessed to have Alex in my life. Despite me freaking out and worrying, he's been able to keep me in check and still love me despite it all. I really can't ask for more than that.
Two weeks later, Alex and I went to the San Bernadino Symphony which was wonderful! We heard music from Fantasia and it was absolutely thrilling. The conductor was great too. Quite eccentric and bursting with life =)
I found out in early March that my grandparents both have lung cancer. My grandpa's is more easily treated than my grandma's, and he (my grandpa) went in for surgery on the 19th. Apparently, it went well and he's recovering. I'm planning to go up there on the 27th to see him, and my mom who's there already. I'd like to be there for him, if not only to light his face with a smile.
Which means I'll spend my 20th birthday in Seattle. Which isn't half bad. I'm looking forward =)
All I need to do now is pass my Psych class. Must think positively!
